Whoso pulleth out this sword of this stone and anvil is rightwise king born of England.
This set is based upon the 1963 American film produced by Walt Disney and released by Buena Vista. It shows the moment before Wart (Arthur) pulls the sword from the stone under the watchful eye of Archimedes. I also put Lady Squirrel in there, as I believe she would have followed Arthur to protect him.
The blue and gold around the base represent King Arthur’s coat of arms, and the shields are actually pretty close to the actual coat of arms. There would be 3 stickers or printed prices in this set. The two on the front and one in the back that say “The Sword in the Stone”
I hope you enjoy this set as much as I did designing it. I tried to make it interesting to look at from all 4 sides. It sits on a 16×16 plate and in my opinion would be a fantastic display piece, especially to any Disney fanatic.
